One of the best things about Corian worktops is that you can buff away marks really easily. As worktops age, you tend to be left with marks or damage (not that Corian can be damaged that easily). But the two videos below show how easy it is to either buff away scratches or repair damage with Corian.
No more replacing the whole worktop if you crack your marble, or chip your wood.
Buff away marks using this technique
Using multiple grades of sand paper (from heavy to fine grain), progressively blend the area until the mark disappears. Using alternating buffing patterns you minimise the risk of buff marks showing up at the end of the process. See the first video below to watch how it’s done.
Note: this only works with light scratches, not deep cuts or edge damage (which would need a repair).
